A couple of days ago, I painted my nails with a nice, solid blue colour. However, after a full day of cleaning and washing dishes, it started to chip. Since my manicure hadn’t even lasted a full two days, I decided to freshen it up rather than starting from scratch.
I started by wiping over my nails with alcohol, and lightly buffing the tips (to remove any chipping polish).
Then I placed nail tape on each nail, on a diagonal (you could easily use scotch tape for this!).
Paint over each nail with a new colour.
(The original colour of my nails was ‘fair game’ by essie , and the colour I added was ‘maximillian strasse-her’.)
Immediately remove the tape, and add a second coat of the new colour (no need to go too close to the diagonal line).
Finish with a top coat and some cuticle oil, and your manicure looks brand new!
