Oh heeeeeyy! I think this is the longest I’ve gone without blogging, ever. Work has been pretty flat out, and then I spent a week at home in Newfoundland. This whole visiting home thing is pretty new to me… a week seemed like loads of time, but it went by in a flash. There were so many things I wanted to do, and so many people I wanted to see – it was hard to fit everything in!
But it was so, so nice to be home. It just reminded me how amazing Newfoundland is, and that even though we’re still having a lot of fun in Paris and aren’t ready to leave, I’ll be happy to head back to my cold, foggy island when the time comes :)
Anyway, thought I’d share a few pictures from my trip…
| A little hike on the
East Coast Trail
with Mom and Dad and this beauty. |
| Beautiful scenery. |
| Stopped for a little lunch on the beach. |
| Break time! |
| Cooked breakfast with my fam-jam. WITH BACON! Oh how I miss bacon… |
| Also very high on the priority list while I was home – berry picking! One of the things I miss most. I was just in time for blueberries, but am super sad to miss the partridgeberries and cranberries. |
| My beautiful Amber-bear celebrated her 13th birthday while I was home. I hate being away from her, but she’s happy and healthy. (She ate her slice of cake in one bite.) |
| Stopped into
The Social House
after an afternoon of shopping downtown with Mama. Had some berry sangria and snacks – so good! |
| Cape Spear. |
| And no visit would be complete without fish and chips! From
Chafe’s
. Too good. |
All the love.
It was just wonderful having you home for those few days – really miss you!
Hugs
