Poppies are one of my very favourite flowers – so pretty and simple, and the orange-red colour is just beautiful. Sounds like a great idea for nail art, right? :) Here’s how I did this manicure…

The colours I chose were:
Base Colour – ‘Absolutely Shore’ by Essie
Petal Colour – ‘Meet Me at Sunset’ by Essie
Flower Center – ‘Little Brown Dress’ by Essie
Stems & Leaves – ‘Don’t MEss With OPI’ by OPI

After prepping my nails , I applied two coats of the base colour.

Then I used a small nail art brush to add the petals.

Next, a dotting tool for the flower centers.

And finally, the brush again to add the stems and leaves.

All done! Pretty, summery, and simple.
